Extension of the JobKeeper Payment (Ease Requirements)
Updated at 2021-12-28 22:54:10
The Australian Government has announced an extension to the JobKeeper payment scheme, which supports Australian businesses impacted by the Coronavirus. The Government is extending the JobKeeper payment by six months from 28 September 2020 to March 2021. Support will be available to businesses and not-for-profits that have been significantly impacted by the Coronavirus. The payment rate will be reduced and employees with fewer hours (less than 20 working hours per week) will be paid less. In addition, from 3 August 2020 the relevant date of employment will move from 1 March to 1 July 2020, increasing employee eligibility for the existing scheme and the extension. We have analyzed and summarized the latest policies in table format for easy reference. If you need any assistance, please feel free to reach out to our team for further consultation.
